With my university break drawing to an end I'm savouring the last days of being settled at home. This has negative aspects, of course, but the most satisfying quality that this encompasses is the long days that stretch ahead of me gloriously empty. This scares some people, I know friends that succumb to boredom after a few minutes at home proclaiming that there is nothing to do; one must never lose the ability to entertain oneself for then life looses all joy. Being alone can be equally as fulfilling as being in the presence of friends in a very different manner, and to dismiss this integral part of our being is committing ourselves to people wholeheartedly and loosing all level of independence.

Things pleasing me lately: 1. Having tea with friends. 2. Watching Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy at the Watershed. 3. Knitting. 4. Playing Bon Iver really loud. 5. Printing out old emails 6. Jean Luc Godard films, in every sense 7. Tumblr 8. Sophia Coppola and her 'Somewhere' Inspiration board above 8. Pink...

I think I might have to steal your idea of printing out old emails.

Godard is amazing. His films are by far my favorites.
